The lives you have touched...from so many different places. And for so many different reasons. It's quite remarkable!

Thanks Heidi, I have been so sidetracked but I am just about ready to finish it up. The feltmakers group has really helped me decide how to hang it!

I love that you commented! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know that you and Grant are reading this and you two are the only ones I know who to read it! I thought this post might be a little strange so I am so glad to know it moved you. Now, I just did a 3-d piece. I'll post it so you can see what you think. It's called the Empty Womb.

So far, I have washed camel hair from several different camels, llama hair, wild goat hair, uriel hair, snake skin and the shedded claw off of some sort of reptile. Since Rolling Hills has all the animals in the natural history museum, they are hoping to get skins from zebras, bear, giraffes etc, maybe some teeth and claws and I'll use feathers too. When I make it with the kids, it will be around 3 1/2' by 7'. (I was also thinking it would be good to put in some fossils too.) There will be around 10-12 kids helping.
Thanks for asking!

I put a clear coat over the mural before taking a photo, so I had to try to manipulate the shean out of it.
