Kansas Trouble Quilters Kansas Troubles Quilters was born in 1989 when three friends began quilting
together & selling their wares at craft shows. After many requests for the patterns of their original
creations, two of the women continued their endeavors in the quilting world by publishing their patterns for
wholesale distribution to quilt shops beginning in 1994. Ten years later (after another partner retired in
1999), Lynne has 26 patterns, 13 books (five in a series of historical quilts as well as quilters journals) &
seven collections of fabric with Moda. There’s always something new in the works at Kansas Troubles
Quilters - from new fabric lines to books, patterns, workshops & retreats.
Trader's Lodge Bed & Breakfast: Experience a revival of the Fur Trade Era in our custom built lodge of fir
and native stone, decorated with antiques, furs and Indian artifacts, many of the items
handcrafted by artist and historian-in-residence, Neal Kindall. The lodge is set in the rolling hills north of
Bennington on a blacktop road, located four miles from the Bennington State Lake, and surrounded by
wildlife and ponds on our wheat and cattle farm.
